Liam Ferrie - Editor Irish Emigrant Publications
doopdesign were invaluable in helping us to produce a weekly podcast of the Irish Emigrant. They helped us to identify podcasting as an appropriate technology to bring news of home to the global Irish community, and were able to combine the strengths of our service with their years of experience as broadcasters. We are delighted with the service: it's produced to the highest of professional standards, and it would have been impossible without the initiative of doop podcasting services and doop's technical know-how.
We feel that our podcast is allowing IrishEmigrant.com to reap the benefits of our association with a podcasting pioneer, without Brian Greene, an Irish Emigrant podcast would have stayed on our wish list.
Fergal O'Byrne CEO Irish Internet Association
The Irish Internet Association (IIA) wanted to get involved in using
podcasting technology to share its event content with a wider audience. As
part of this process the IIA talked with Doop Design about implementing this
technology. Doop then podcast the IIA's annual awards ceremony, the Net
Visionary Awards. The RSS feed is available here.
According to the IIA's new CEO, Fergal O'Byrne, "Doop managed the whole
process of podcasting our awards and produced high quality MP3 files and
associated feeds. I was very pleasantly surprised at how painless the
process was and how quickly the content could be turned around and available
to the public. Doop really know their stuff and it is a credit to Brian,
Sinead and the rest of the doop team that the event podcast was so
successful. The IIA intends to expand its forays into the world
of podcasting and hopes to present regular casts of events and other
content. doop are leaders in this field in Ireland and it is a pleasure
working with them.
